Jamin Fitness Nutrition helps you track what you eat and learn why it matters. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, who can see it, and your choices.
What we collect
Your email and first name; the details you give us to calculate your targets (sex, date of birth, height, weight, activity level and goal); the food you log; body measurements you add (such as weight, body fat and tape measurements); progress photos if you choose to add them; and the coaching notes the app writes for you.
Who can see it
You can. And so can Jamin, the coach behind this app, who can view your logs, measurements, photos and progress so he can help you and see how the app is working. Nobody else using the app can see your information, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
Services that help us run the app
To make the app work, some information passes through trusted providers: Supabase (our database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (the emails with your sign-in code), and Anthropic (the AI that reads a meal photo or writes your coaching note, which receives only what is needed for that request). Food names you search for are sent to the USDA FoodData Central database. If you arrive from an ad on Facebook or Instagram, we may tell Meta that you signed up, using a scrambled (hashed) version of your email, so we can measure whether our ads work. We never send your food, weight, photos or any health information. These providers process data on our behalf.
Photos
Meal photos you scan are shrunk on your phone, sent to be analysed, and not stored. Progress photos you add are stored privately, in a folder only you and the coach can open. To improve the estimates, we also keep a small record of each scanned food's estimated weight next to the weight you finally saved. It contains no photo.
Your choices
You can change your information in the app at any time. To ask for a copy of your data or to have your account and everything in it deleted, email jaminfitness7@gmail.com.
Not medical advice
The numbers and notes in this app are general education and estimates. They are not medical advice. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to your doctor before changing how you eat.
Age
You must be 18 or older to use this app.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app.
